Barnwood Panel with Vintage Medicine Bottle & Brass Accents – One of a Kind
Crafted from reclaimed barnwood salvaged from an estate in Medford, Oregon, this one of a kind wall panel features naturally weathered wood with soft remnants of old white paint. The surface tells its story through texture and time.
Mounted to the panel is an aged clear glass apothecary bottle, likely used for medicinal tonics in the early 1900s. Its thick, timeworn surface and subtle waviness reflect its age and handmade character. The bottle is secured with a polished copper strap and filled with homegrown dried lavender and wildflowers, offering a quiet nod to nature.
At the top, a rope-wrapped metal handle adds both function and rustic warmth. A vertical row of antique brass buttons at the base finishes the design with a touch of vintage charm.
Handmade in small batches from my home studio under the name Thistle & Muse, each piece reflects a commitment to eco-conscious practices, reclaimed materials, and meaningful craftsmanship.
Currently on display at True Lavender Collective in Ashland, Oregon in the Plaza Mall hallway. Local pickup and delivery available.
